I have an Apple IIe joystick that is in pretty good cosmetic condition but the electronics are not working well. One axis is fine but the other only reads 255 to the BASIC PDL() command and both buttons click but nothing happens.

I want to open it up and take a look at what is happening but I can't work out how to open it. I removed the feet thinking that there were screws underneath but there is nothing there.

Any ideas?

Craig

It will depend on the make and model.

Have you checked under the label on the bottom?
