I know who you are. but I'll help you anyway, 4E lock means that it can't be overwritten probably locked dummy. comment out the lines cmd lock Merlin and cmd unlock Merlin. The lines are at the end of the merlin-16+ 4.12 source code.
To everyone else, I have the original Merlin-16+ Source Code also if anybody wants or needs a copy. I worked with Glen on it as well as the 8 bit version. Way back when... I'm, an Apple Employee and have been since 1972.

There's a guy who likes to take source code for vintage computer systems and change the name to make it look like he was the one who wrote it. He tried doing it with a Nibble Program and he tried doing it with Brutal Deluxe's LemminGS. There's no way we're going to help him misrepresent Merlin as having been written by him.
