As long as you`re not infringing on copyrights and trademarks there is
bugger all Baz can do about your renders or your promotion thereof.
Having said that, your renders do look like you`re taking the piss, sorry to
say.

However, I don't want another Linux thing. A Commodore Handheld should
have a startuptime like the C64. Maximal 2 secondes. :)

I whish you luck with that.
Just some hint from me:
What I don't need is some other linux like device that runs some kind of
emulator that does not really work that well. There are C64 emulators
for Android and Symbian. But I didn't have any phone yet where it really
made sense. Keyboard support on Android/Nokia was not really good, also
the keys of the device were not suitable for playing any game.
So that people really want to use this device for good old C64 games it
should also have gameboy like buttons so that you can really play a game
with this. Also it shouldn't be to difficult to get over the Intro
Screen (which can be a problem when you need the run/stop key like in
most of the Remember crackings, or F1).
I really would appreciate simple looking Contacts and Calenders. Would
be great to have them in C64 style with a speed a device could offer
today. Still you'd need some components not in C64 style like
Web-Browser or Navigation for example.

I hate to keep repeating myself, but I will now that things have
calmed down here on c.s.c ;)
The SV6510 (now known as the C*HMD (Handheld Multimedia Device) due to
litigation from Commodore USA), will have a perfect emulation of the
stock standard c64, with a h/w accelerated layer over the top to
enhance it. 16 colours become 256, sid becomes stereo sid, graphical
antialiasing/blur and other filters...
The system itself, yes it would boot very fast, you can run BASIC from
the desktop, or 6510, or a combination of the two, and the BASIC would
be greatly enhanced to allow a simple BASIC program to be able to be
produce with the same quality and speed as of a native 6510 ML
program.
I am also toying with the possibility of creating a compiled runtime
of the o/s, so that s/w created on it would be able to be run *on any
platform*. This would be quite simple once the o/s is finished (that
is going to take 6-8 months), as it is all based on javascript. I know
I know, javascript is a lame language, well in the days of HTML5, CSS3
and "web 3.0", it is quite powerful and impressive. In fact, Google
are aiming to roll out their Chrome O/S based on webkit to a multitude
of devices. And believe me, developing an o/s in j/s is only slightly
more difficult than the advanced multimedia websites I create every
day in my work as a web technology UI expert.
We would be taking a page from the book of SEUCK for the game dev SDK,
and from GEOS for the productivity side of the O/S. All of this will
be openly available for beta testing in about six months time, and you
will be able to test the o/s on just about any device, or even the
web!
I'm excited about all of the possibilities, and I hope I can get you
guys excited as well. It's time to show the world what our community
can really achieve, and now cheap ass chinese CRAP like the c64dtv
this time! 8D

Also given your input on this, I'm considering scrapping the second
screen entirely in favour of proper gaming controls and keypad, with a
smaller lcd screen contained within.
