This is for all in the DFW area, and anyone else interested.I was
visiting my son and his fiancee up in Ft.Worth.We
went to Traders Village and went all day with not much going on with
video games. We were going back to the car when my son said lets go to
the last aisle.Holy Crap...What I saw there was enough to make a gamer
sit down and weep.In front of my eyes was the most complete collection
of old video games and systems I'd ever seen.I may have more games
than he had for sale, but he had a heck of a lot more different systems
and games. He had probebly around 1,000 games of all varieties. Here are
a few.
1Vectrex games and systems
2-atari..ditto
3-Jaguar
4 Master System
5-Genesis
Sega Cd
6-Turbografx
7-NES and a top loader
And numerours other old systems.
..He has hundreds of genny games,Saturn, game gear, dreamcast,Sega
CD,Master System,Turbografx games,Atari.You name it it was there.Here
is the problem. He wants your 1st born for his game and systems.Sure a
lot came with boxes and instruction. Here are a couple of examples
PacLand for the Turbografx...$25.00.All his turbo stuff was extremley
high
Master System with no hookups that I could see $55.00
All games seemed to be double and triple their current value.I could
not stay long because all wanted to go home so I tried to bargain. No
deal.He would'nt even do that.Everyone that came in stayed for a while
but left without buying because of the high prices. It's definitley
worth a look if anyone is interested.i'm back home now 300 miles away
with nothing but dreams about what could have been...Bruce

I've noticed this with a lot of "retro" console/game sellers. They
demand top price for games that are $3 on ebay, or just insanely common.
I think they're business model is like the Apple or Bose store: They
sell just one of two items and they've made their quota for the month.
;) Usually unless a game is just super rare and is way more on ebay, I
just pass...

Yea the guy was a real idiot.I wonder if he was there to make money or
just to show off.
Every person who was at his display said he was way too high. It's a
shame.I would have spent
a few hundred dollars there.Still I was impressed by his games..Bruce
