From what I can gather from the net the Lattice C compiler on the Amiga
fully supports 64 bit floting point. At the UK pre-launch bun parties given
by so called experts from Commodore they informed me and several other
progammers and developers that the Amiga not only did not support any
floting point, but Commodore had no intention of supplying a floting point
package. Unless I have got it wrong from the net the ROM kernel has all
the routines reqired and laticce C supports them. If this is the case
Commodore US need to tell the UK side to try and get their facts right.

The Machine will not be launched in the UK until Jan-Feb of 86. Development
systems are available to "Corprate and Educational buyers" and cost 1700
pounds. This seems to back up the one pound = one dollar in computer circles.

P.S. does anyone know anyting about grabing or overlaying a NON NTSC video
signal. I need to be able to combine PAL colour from live action and Amiga
graphics.
