I have an NTSC C64. Can someone point me to some impressive demos that
work fine on NTSC machines? The few I've downloaded are clearly PAL
demos.

Thanks.

The NTSC demo world is not as prolific, but check out

Thanks.

As with the Amiga, I suppose. Of course, Amigas w/ Fat Agnus can jump
to PAL to view the demos properly... Wish the C64 could pull that
trick. Hopefully Jeri's PAL core will arrive so that at least I can
view some of these on the C-One.

The largest, and original, archive of NTSC made demos can be found at
Scene Emporium:

..lnx files are archives put together with a program called Lynx. You can
dissolve them using the Lynx program on a C64 with 1541 drive. Don't know if
Lynx will work in VICE with true drive emulation turned on or not.

Yes, you will find old file formats there considering the archive was
started back in 1992-1993 before emulator formats (like D64) existed
(?) or commonly used.

I'm currently working to convert everything, hopefully with original
filenames, into emulator friendly formats
