No, but I'll give you a blank, quizzical stare. I guess this must be from the
last couple seasons when I wasn't paying too much attention to the episode
names since the Fox site had gone badly downhill. Which one was this?

It was a special episode 1013 put on DVD and mailed to long-time
viewers of the show after Fox refused to air it. It was sort of a
special present to thank us for being fans. The episode is very
hard to come by as the few who received one realize its value and
are holding on to them. I treasure my copy of Limerick.

This can't be a real episode, it has to be hoax! You gave it away Laura
when you said Fox refused to air it. The same channel that gave us "When
Animals Attack" and "When Stupid People, Do Stupid Things" would never
refuse to air anything!!!! LOL!!

You're wrong, bozo. This ep, along with "TsKiYF", didn't make it off
the cutting room floor back in the mid-90s. Here's the link to the
"TsKiYF" episode as well:

They only refused to air Limerick because it came in with a
unratable rating due to sexually violent content and the show airing
on Sunday. In those days, networks were loathe to offend Sunday
night viewers (considered it a family viewing night). I also think
it was scheduled during some family holiday weekend but I'm fuzzy on
that. Ten Thirteeen refused to cut the offending scenes, Fox
refused to air it. That Sunday Night, Fox aired Independence Day
instead of The X-Files (and the shows that preceeded it) which is
the real reason Mulder pees on that poster in Fight The Future.

Easter. It was meant to be the first new episode leading into the end of
the season, but we ended up with one fewer episode that season than Fox had
paid for. They tried to recover the cost with their "Inside the X-Files"
special later on, but it didn't quite work.

The fact that we've got all nine seasons and it's still not available on DVD
is not a good sign for those of us who want the pilot episode to "The Lone
Gunmen."

Latest rumour on the Limerick front - the green underwear
will be part of a charity auction on eBay this fall. So keep
checking!

Holy Crap, you're kidding, right? You have no idea how long I've waited for a
piece of Limerick memorabillia. I've heard through the grapevine that one of
our ilk actually has had their hands on the original script (printed on green
paper, of course). :::coughgizziecough::::. What I wouldn't give to read the
scene where the leprechaun makes his first apperance.

Geez - that's nothing compared to the dance scene! (Is *that* the green
underwear on Ebay???) I mean, the women were awesome, just the right combo
of hate and attraction, but watching the reaction of Mulder & McStraun -
priceless...

Well, so is 'Plan 9 From Outer Space', and mostly for the same reason.

oooo, another one for the 'crappy' list just popped into my head. Don't know
the actual ep title, but in Friends-ese it'd be 'The One Where Doggett Gets
Eaten and Barfed Up Into a Vaguely Man-Shaped Hole Yet Lives to Tell About It'.

Dear God, what were they thinking when they wrote that crap?
