TOM: [ Bela ] Sorry I didn't have everything packed. Look, set that
down anywhere. Can I get you a beer?
CROW: Aaah ...
TOM: [ Bela ] Now. Turn your head and clank.
JOEL: Wow, this guy really knows how to get the most of what limited
space he's got.
TOM: I know. He should be in Better Dungeons and Gardens.
CROW: My private stock. Glenn finish. 30 years old.
JOEL: This is what the scientist needed.
TOM: He's just blowing off a little steam.
JOEL: Quick, get Vicks on the phone! I just invented the Vaporizer!

Wouldn't that be "Glenfiddich"? As in single-malt Scotch whisky?
Unless Crow means the finish on some "Glenn" (and/or Glenda?),
perhaps.

Oh, that makes a good deal of sense. I couldn't make it out
quite and my best guess was that it was some brand of wood varnish.
I couldn't prove the existence of a Glenn finish, but my father has
all sorts of wood-cleaning liquids in the garage and it was a credible
enough idea, anyway.

I'm not sure if it wouldn't be better to buff Ed Wood's sweater,
or just to never think of such things again.
