Retro gaming on your smartphone
Many of us remember the old days of gaming with the likes of the Atari 2600 console, and later the Commodore 64. You also had the classics in the arcades such as Space Invaders and Asteroids which also found their way onto home systems. Luckily over recent times these old classic retro games have found a new lease of life, and enjoyed by people who remember them as well as getting new fans. Many retro style games are now finding their way onto smartphones to be played anywhere.
For owners of iOS devices Atari’s Greatest Hits has stacks of the classic games that made the Atari 2600 such a success, and some classic arcade titles. The application is free to download and comes with Missile Command. Further games need to be purchased in packs, or the whole game can be purchased for $14.99/£8.99, which is a total of 99 games.
